Scrapbooking Homework

My senior was given an assignment for a class in school. He was asked to do a report on the top 10 national parks in the United States. All that was required was making a big poster board- he decided to do something else. Tyler likes to make things out of wood- so yes this cabin is about 2 feet high, and made out of real wood. All of the stuff added to the ranger station for the report is paper. My Cricut machine was a huge help.

Tyler printed a picture and typed up information for each park in the report.

The back of the cabin has a map of the United States with numbers showing where each park is located.

The teacher loved his project SO much she asked to keep it.

Baby Books

This is a great way to make a gift before the baby is actually born. When I made my first book I decided to do an 8x8 book so that I could type all the writing for my pages, and then save the template. Now I can make more books easily, and just change the colors or accents for each book.
This book has a lot of the pages you would expect like first birthday, first Christmas, first Halloween (I didn't include the holiday pages) But these books also have pages that you would find in a simple baby book from the store....
I left plenty of pages for pictures to go with these other pages. One 8x8 books comes with 10 pages protectors, so each book has 20 pages total. That should be enough to cover the first year....

These pages have enough detail that journaling will be simple. Just fill in the blanks....

I am currently trying to think of a few new pages to add to my design.

Hawaii Style Wedding Album

Pick a theme and have a little fun with it...
I got everything included for the wedding, just look down through the pages
Keep in mind that bigger accents can be cut in half and used for more than one page

The cricut was used for a lot of the accents, but some are stamps too.
Notice the background paper was printed using the wedding colors, their names, and the date of the wedding. this is a fun way to add a personal touch.

the number of mission presidents, baptisms, areas served in, companions, etc.

Paper Crafts

This is made on a white canvas artist board. The board was spray painted brown, then the paper glued with a spray adhesive. All of the sewing was done before the paper was glued down. The brad is a magnet buddy made by Karen Foster. The only thing missing is a 5 x 7 picture.
